Safety-Related Maintenance – The Evolving Standards

The NFPA 70E standard has evolved over the years including additions that specifically direct companies to consider how the electrical system was maintained and documented. As part of the overall electrical safety program, in 2023 the NFPA 70B publication was elevated from Recommendations for Electrical Equipment Maintenance to Standard for Electrical Equipment Maintenance.
